This beach trail has reach plantation and offers amazing pictures, while sea fossils can be seen at places. It goes through the Cape of Kyklopas, the chapel of Agioi Anargyroi, which is built on top of a sea cave where in the past hermits used to live, the natural bridge “Kamara tou Koraka” and under the cape you end up at the Sea Caves. Departure: 08:00 from Apoel Training field in Arhangelos, or from the trail’s starting point at 09:30. Starting point: Konnos beach between Protaras and Cavo Greco Estimated length: 12 km Difficulty Level: 1, easy trail, without particular terrain problems. SUN, 13 DEC 2015 DIARIZOS VALLEY (LINEAR) Diarizos River arises from Chionistra and along its path it creates valleys and impressive nature reserves, it goes through Z1 protection zones, since next to it there are nests of raptor birds. The route will take place along Platy stream and end at Komititzi picnic area. Diarizos River runs all year round through unsurpassed green scenery. Departure: 08:00 from Apoel Training field in Arhangelos, or from the trail’s starting point at 10:00. Starting point: Road junction of Ayios Nicolas – Kaminaria – Milikouri (Road Kaminaria – Elia bridge – Ayios Nicolaos) Estimated length: 14km Difficulty Level: 1, easy route.

SUN, 20 DEC 2015 SELLADI TOY KARAMANLI TRAIL – MADARI LOOKOUT STATION – TISIA TIS MADARIS TRAIL (LINEAR) The Fire Lookout Station of Madari provides excellent panoramic views towards the north - west parts of Mesaoria Plain spreading between Troodos, Northern Range and Nicosia at an altitude of 1400m - 1600m, along the Madari ridge. The area produces grapes, wine, zivania, chestnuts, hazelnuts, apples, figs and almonds. Departure: 08:00 from Apoel Training field in Arhangelos, or from the trail’s starting point at 09:15. Starting point: “Selladi tou Karamanli” location, 2 km after Saranti village towards Spilia. Estimated length: 13km Difficulty level: 3, High difficulty level, with some particular terrain characteristics, like sloping elevation differences (uphill or/and downhill). SAT, 26 DEC 2015 ROUTE TO KARKOTIS RIVER (Circular) (Established Christmas route) The route will cover the Nature Trail along Karkotis River until the abandoned mine of chromium and will return at the starting point from the ridge above the river or follow, going up, the same route. It is a particularly unique and impressive route that combines the green of the forest and the coolness of the running waters of the Karkotis River with an undisturbed landscape, almost without any human intervention. Her Aunt tells her that her son passed away at the age of three. In her unbearable pain she takes poison to die and meet her son in the afterlife while singing the aria Senza Mama. Christmas Concert 2015 Handel’s oratorio Messiah well-deserves its place among the greatest and most popular masterpieces in Western choral literature. VITALY PISARENKO Piano Russian pianist Vitaly Pisarenko began his studies in Ukraine, and continued at Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and at Oxana Yablonskaya’s Piano Institute in Italy. In 2014, he graduated with a Mastrer’s degree with distinction from the Royal College of Music in London, where he studied with Dmitri Alexeev. In 2008, aged 21 he won First Prize in the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Utrecht. Since then he has performed as a soloist with leading orchestras and ensembles, and as a recital soloist, throughout the world. “Alice in Wonderland”, one of the most favourite fairy tales in the world for both children and adults, was written in the middle of the 19thc. by English author Lewis Carol. The novel describes with subtle imagination and childlike spontaneity the adventures of a girl named Alice. After falling into a rabbit hole, Alice wanders into a fantasy world where she experiences many wondrous and often bizarre adventures. The Cyprus Strollers It is a new hiking club, based in Nicosia that organises an activity practically every weekend, from October to May. Activities alternate between Saturdays and Sundays. Scala – Its Craftsmen Scala is the area that surrounds Larnaka Fort and Agios Lazaros Church. The aim of this walk is to explore the area and visit the Handicraft Workshops created by young ceramic artists most of who are inspired by ancient Cypriot art. The Walk goes through picturesque streets of the Turkish sector of Larnaka, where visitors have the chance to see traditional white washed houses, houses with kiosks and the present use of this residential area. This «walk» construes the historic connection of the area of Agia Napa with the sea and the recent development of the village. The participants, accompanied by a tourist guide, will ride on an old bus to Cape Greco and walk up to the top of the hill called «tigani» (flat bottomed frying pan). All along, they will get the chance to be enlightened on the archaeology of the area, its connection with the sea, and its natural beauties. After a short drive to Agii Anargiri, a chapel in the northern part of Cape Greco, and a coffee break, the «walk» will continue along the coast to Makronisos archaeological site of.
