Proposal To Host:

2015 Eastern Great Lakes Regional Figure Skating Championships Presented By:

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Fort Wayne, Indiana’s second-largest city, is home to over 250,000 residents. A three-time All America City, Fort Wayne was named “One of the Best Cities for Minor League Sports” by Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal. Our community acknowledges and appreciates high level competition. Past figure skating competitions have been impressed by Fort Wayne’s ability to put on effective events. In fact, Fort Wayne was chosen to host the Indiana State Competition in November 2013.

Fort Wayne’s convenient location makes us an ideal sports competition destination.

As a community, we offer a big city feel, with a small town atmosphere. Not to mention, Fort Wayne’s high quality and lower cost amenities, and cleanliness and friendliness of community, sets our city apart from our counterparts. Accessible by major interstate highways and an international airport, it’s easy to see why Fort Wayne is one of the Midwest’s most central and convenient locations.

Location is a big advantage to hosting events in Fort Wayne. Fort Wayne is centrally located, is easy for visitors to navigate, and there are tons of hotels to choose from. And the people in Fort Wayne love sports and know how to support them.” — Terry Stefankiewicz, Executive Director, Shindigz National Soccer Festivals Inc.
