Natchez Trace Parkway
A must-see for scenic beauty around Franklin is the Natchez Trace Parkway. Stretching 444-miles long from Nashville, Tennessee, through Franklin and on to Natchez, Mississippi, the parkway is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the U.S. The Trace is designated as a national scenic byway by the U.S. National Park Service and also provides a variety of fun recreational activities along the way. Enjoy cycling, camping, hiking, motorcycling, interpretive exhibits, wildlife, and beautiful fall foliage along the Trace.
Before you begin your journey on the parkway, spend some time exploring Leiper’s Fork - just off of the Trace.
