TheMICERestorationSchemeoffersfinancialgrantstoVoluntarySector OrganizationsandPrivateBusinessesinGozo,supportingtherestoration andupgradeofvenuefacilitiestohosthigh-qualityMICEevents.The schemeaimsto:
•BoostGozo’scompetitivenessinattractinglocalandinternationalMICE events.
•Supportthosewiththecapacitytoinvestininfrastructureand technologicalupgrades.
EligiblebeneficiariesincludeVoluntaryOrganizationsandPrivate Businesseswhenundertakingstructuralworksandpurchaseof equipmenttoenhancetheirvenues.Eligibleprojectsmustcomply withaGrantAgreemententeredintoandschemeguidelines.




ThisschemesupportsGozoaccommodationoperatorsinpromotingthe islandasaholidaydestinationthroughdigitalmarketing.TheMinistryforGozo andPlanningaimstoincentivizeprofessionaldigitalmarketinginvestments thatattractsustainable,high-qualitytourismandenhancetheVisitGozo brand.
Theschemefundsdomesticandinternationaldigitalmarketinginitiatives, ensuringtheyarewell-researchedandtargetaudience-focusedforastrong returnoninvestment.
Eligibleapplicantsmustbelicensedaccommodationproviderswith propertiesregisteredwiththeMaltaTourismAuthority(MTA)andlocatedin Gozo.
Thisschemecoversupto65%ofeligiblecosts,cappedat€8,000,Subjecttoa minimuminvestmentof€5,500(includingthegrant).Additionallycampaigns mustrunforadurationof6-12monthsandbemanagedbyaprofessional digitalmarketingagency.



ThisschemeencouragesAdventureTourismoperatorsinGozotoinvest insustainable,modernequipmentandincreasecapacity.Itoffersa partialcashgranttosupportinvestmentineco-friendly,zero-emissions equipment,enhancingGozo’simageasayear-roundsustainable destination.Theschemeaimstoimprovethequalityand competitivenessoftheadventuretourismsector,supportbusiness expansion,andencourageenvironmentallyfriendlypractices.
EligiblebusinessesmustbebasedinGozoandoperateintheAdventure Tourismindustry,includingactivitieslikeabseiling,rockclimbing,diving, cycling,watersports,segways,andsafetyequipment.Businesses offeringotheradventureactivitiesmayalsoqualifyiftheycontributeto sustainabletourism.
TheMinistrywillreimburseupto50%ofeligibleequipmentcosts,upto €5,000,subjecttoschemecompliance.



ThePromotingGozo’sNicheTourismMarketsSchemepromotesinvestmentin nichetourismmarkets,boostingGozo’sbrandingasasustainable,quality destination.Itsupportsmarketingcampaignstoraiseawareness,enhance brandsinternationally,andstimulatelocalproductinvestment.Eligibleinitiatives include:
•Participationinspecializedfairs/eventsabroadwiththeobjectiveof promotingGozoasaholidaydestination.
•Advertisinginpublications/socialmedia/online/televisiontargetedtoa foreignaudience.
ThisschemecaterstobusinessesintourismnicheslikeCraft&Artisanal Products,Sports&Adventure,GozoasaWeddingDestination,Gastronomy, Health&Well-being,MICE,andReligiousTourism.
Theschemecoversupto75%ofeligiblecosts:
•Upto€3,000foradvertisingoreventparticipation
•Upto€4,500forbothadvertisingandeventparticipation.
Participationcostscovereconomyclassflights,registrationfees,andupto60% ofthestandardsubsistenceallowancecoveringB&Baccommodation(1day beforeandaftertheevent).



TheGozoTeleworkingSchemeprovidesfinancialaidtoemployersoffering teleworktoeligibleGozitanemployees.Thegrantisspreadover3years, basedonthenumberofteleworkdays.Additionally,aone-offgrantisoffered forTechnologicalandCapitalInvestmentsneededtoequipemployeesfor telework.
Thisschemesupportsemployers,basedinMalta,offeringGozitanresident employeestheflexibilitytoworkfromhome,improvingwork-lifebalance whilemaintaininghighproductivity.Teleworkallowsforincreased performance,timesavedoncommuting,andencouragesemployeestobe moreefficient.
Thebeneficiaryistheemployer,providedtheycomplywiththescheme’s termsandconditions.EmployerscanapplyagainundertheGozo TeleworkingSchemeforemployeespreviouslyawardedgrantsbetween 2020-2023.Eligibility,however,willonlyberestrictedtopartialsalary reimbursements.
Theaidconsistsoftwocomponents:
•SalaryRefund:ArefundbasedontheteleworkhoursofeachGozitan employee,upto€10,000maximumperemployeespreadover3years.
•TechnologicalandCapitalInvestment:Aone-time75%reimbursementfor equipment(Notebook/PCandprinter)upto€850.
