GOLF COURSE DESIGNERS Pete Dye Golf Trail "Hamilton County boasts an abundance of beautifully manicured and affordable public and private courses, offering some of the best golf in the Midwest. We’re dedicated to ensuring that our local Dye-designed courses are equally playable for men and women with numerous teeing options to suit all handicaps and skill levels."
MIKE
GOLF ENTHUSIAST "There’s nothing better than to slip away for an afternoon of golf in Hamilton County — it is truly one of my favorite places because there’s just so much variety. If I’m feeling like a challenge, I like Purgatory Golf Club in the northeastern part of the county. If I want more of a tree-lined woodland style course, then it’s Bear Slide. When I’m at Prairie View, I feel like I’m not in the Midwest. After the course, I like to sit at the clubhouse, enjoy a cold brew and look over the 18th green and see everyone coming in for the day. It’s a great way to wind down the day." PLUM CREEK GOLF CLUB

This visually intimidating Par 4 requires an accurate tee shot to a small landing area. A short right approach will benefit from an aiding slope and kick toward the green.
Risk and reward. A challenging Par 5 that tempts a long drive over water. Succeed, and be rewarded with a shorter approach and a great scoring opportunity.

HOLE #7
Step inside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to a difficult par 3. Designed with elevation to allow for stunning views of the historic venue, which hosts the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 this year.
