“I always stop here when visiting from New York. You can walk around several blocks and see a variety of creative places, even a museum of miniature houses. It’s fun seeing and buying the artwork of Indiana artists and then choosing a new or favorite place to eat. Some of the artists even work in the galleries.”

WHITE RIVER CANOE COMPANY
“The company staff were pleasant, helpful and timely. The kayaks were easy to maneuver and very comfortable, especially considering my normally stiff back. But mother nature steals the show on this beautiful stretch of river scenery in central Indiana. Plenty of wildlife to be seen including some bald eagle close-ups that we didn’t expect, so we got some really cool bonus photos. Good time had by all and what a relaxing way to spend a hot summer day.”

“The town is enjoying a bit of a boom at the moment, and it’s obvious from the scene. It’s young and vibrant. This is best experienced in Rosie’s Place, a not-too-shabby eatery offering traditional diner fare, in what can only be called a cleaner way, not just in presentation, but also in quality. The corned beef hash I had that morning was made in their own kitchen as opposed to it coming out of a tin.
