Wildlife Explorers Discover Hampshire’s wild side with an animal themed visit to the county. Known for its rural landscape, open coastline and flowing rivers, Hampshire is also home to tigers, birds of prey, snow leopards and monkeys! Marwell’s large enclosures and excellent facilities make it one of the county’s best loved attractions. With regular daily talks, dedicated conservation work and woodland trails, the site is a great day out for all ages.

Spend the morning exploring Marwell Zoo near Winchester, one of southern England’s largest zoological parks. Spanning an impressive 140 acres, the park is home to exotic and endangered species. These include tigers, lizards, penguins, giraffe, monkeys and zebra.

In the afternoon discover the wonderful world of birds of prey in Test Valley. The Hawk Conservancy Trust features 150 birds, within 22 acres of woodland. From herons and red kites to eagles and vultures, the Trust has an impressive collection making it truly unique. There are daily timetables featuring regular feeds, talks and flying demonstrations. There are also chances to hold a bird of prey during your visit! Sit back and enjoy a delicious lunch at the on site café.
