Local VISIT LIKE A

A common question we hear is: "Where do the locals go and what do they like to do?" So, we pulled together a team of locals to tell you!

Randy

Kathy

Our favorite activities surround sporting events in the community. Hutchinson is host of the National NJCAA DI Basketball Championship every March. The quality of players is amazing, and several of the basketball players move on to Division 1 colleges and even the NBA.

My must-do activity while in Hutch is to go to the Cosmosphere! Every time I go, I see something different or new. The Cosmosphere is always adding new and interesting things. There is so much to see and do, it's definitely a full day adventure!

M U S T - D O A C T I V I T Y:

G O - T O R E S TA U R A N T My wife and I love to support locally owned eating establishments. If we are hungry for amazing drive-in fast food, we go to the R-B Drive In for the best hamburgers around. When we are looking for a great steak, we will go to the Airport Steakhouse, not only for the food but also entertainment of watching planes fly in and out.

Amy

M U S T - D O A C T I V I T Y: I would pick shopping! We have so many wonderful boutiques and unique specialty shops! My favorite thing to do is shop on our amazing Main Street.

M U S T - D O A C T I V I T Y:

G O - T O R E S TA U R A N T My go-to restaurant is Anchor Inn. It is a family-owned business that has been in Hutch for a very long time. People that have moved from Hutch make it a point to stop at "The Anchor" when they are back to visit!

Penny

M U S T - D O A C T I V I T Y: There is so much to do in Hutch! From the Saturday Farmer's Markets and catching a weekend show at the Fox, to shopping with the girls downtown. There’s just not enough time for it all!

G O - T O R E S TA U R A N T

G O - T O R E S TA U R A N T

My husband and I eat most date nights at Anchor Inn or Airport Steakhouse. But for lunch I frequent PiZaacos, The Traveling Bowl, The Bakery House, R&B and Holly's Sweet Treats.

How can you choose just one!? Carl’s Bar with their famous Reuben will always be my weekly go-to staple! And, you can’t beat Anchor Inn's buffet, it’s amazing!
