A LETTER FROM THE \

PRESIDENT v CEO Dear Industry Partners & Community Stakeholders: Jefferson Parish is thriving! And so is our tourism economy! Our members and partners have diligently worked alongside our JCVB team to create unique visitor experiences positioning Jefferson Parish as a premiere travel destination. Destination brand awareness with emphasis on leisure visitation growth has been a top focus as we move forward with marketing partnerships that help grow our tourism product and maximizes economic benefit. 2018 marked the launch of the Just Imagine campaign engaging The Imagination Movers as Jefferson Parish ambassadors to showcase the best of Jefferson Parish for visitors to discover. This campaign buoyed annual hotel occupancy and revenue per available room growth, which was up 2.9% and 3.8% respectively year over year. The JCVB is pleased to present our progress through the 2018 Annual Report. We hold steadfast to our mission while growing our partnerships with our state and local leaders, and business and industry stakeholders, to expand the destination experience that is Jefferson Parish. Thank you for your ongoing support of the Jefferson Parish tourism industry and JCVB mission. All the best,

Violet Peters President & CEO
