Digital and social media marketing were major factors in advancing brand awareness and exposing the destination across a variety of platforms. In addition to traditional broadcast and digital outlets, our leisure campaigns were featured in ‘over the top’ (OTT) advertising enabling us to tap into non-traditional television content viewed on phones, tablets, computers and smart TV’s. The flexibility and affordability of social media advertising allowed us to target specific demographics and niche markets more frequently and garnered an increase on impressions and engagements on the JCVB website. The VisitJefferonParish.com website’s user-friendly navigation with destination blog, calendar of events, itinerary builder, social media user generated content, and a-Res Travel hotel reservation system is ideal for marketing the destination’s unique amenities, things to do, and places to dine while visiting. The JCVB also maintains the niche-focused LouisianaOysterTrail.com and FamilyGras.com websites.
