For 5 days, over the Spring Bank Holiday, Kingston’s Ancient Market will become a one-stop shop for all your sugary needs. Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth – indulge in brownies, chocolate, fudge and much more – this is sweet street food with a difference! Kicking off on Thursday 26th May from 10am until 10pm; then open daily from 10am – 6pm, there’s lots to sample but here are a few favourites…. Le Jeune Chocolatiers Based in the heart of Covent Garden, Ivan and Harika lived in Switzerland for 14 years, where they trained as chocolate chefs. Their luxurious chocolates are handcrafted using only the very finest ingredients.

I’d Rather Be Eating Chocolate A small, family run business producing luxury handmade Belgian Chocolates to order, run by local Kingstonian, Karen. Churros Garcia This family street food business that started 50 years ago, when Mum, Encarnacion Garcia Fuentesco, bought her first churros oven. The Chocolate Fountain Company Fresh strawberries and marshmallows dipped into the finest Belgian Chocolate - delicious! Happy Crepes Traditional freshly prepared French crepes served with the very best Belgian chocolate…or Nutella…. or dark chocolate… or white chocolate! Lallapolosa Baking Company Cakes, cookies, brownies born out of husband and wife team Elyse Savage and Adam Jones’ love of baking and a desire to delight with each bite.
