This year will see Dickensian magicians, Victorian sideshows and a delectable Christmas Market all come together to create a fantastic festive day for the whole family. Entertainment will be plentiful, from the roguish chaps of the Fanshaw Emporium, who can read your minds and intrigue to the finest and funniest order, Acafella – a 6 piece male vocal group who will delight with their modern twist on traditional Christmas carols, The Caravan Of Lost Souls, which includes a travelling circus complete with fire stilts, a contortionist and a circus specialist, through to the magnificent Betty Balloon, creating characters out of balloons whilst storytelling. Plus, an array of characters from the novel A Christmas Carol will also take to the streets, from Tiny Tim to Ebenezer Scrooge. Alongside the traditional Christmas Lights Switch On, Christmas Market and performers there will be face painters and of course, Santa’s Grotto, guaranteeing something on the night to delight and entertain the whole family.
