Three ‘heavyweights’ of the Carinthian brass music scene have come together as a brass trio. Michael Kraxner (trumpet), Daniel Mascher (trombone) and Johannes Ogris (tuba) combine modern and traditional brass music styles in their music and bring along their typical improvisations from jazz to Balkan and Carinthian reggae alongside Christmas tunes.

He experiments with rhythm, harmony and emotion, taking his listeners on an exciting journey of piano sounds.

All three exceptional musicians have been musical partners for years and have played on numerous international stages, in renowned jazz clubs and at festivals.

Ukulelen-Ensemble

‘Kanikapila’ is Hawaiian and means “to come together and make music”.

Various ukulele groups have come together to form a formation to give the harbour crackle a special, Christmassy touch.

Under the direction of Jenny Pippan (aloha hawaii), the ‘Kanikapila’ group is growing steadily and is passionate about playing songs from all over the world, especially Hawaiian and Christmas songs.
