Ribble Valley Sculpture Trail The 20 sculptures aren’t the only thing to see in this nature reserve – be on the look-out for kingfishers, salmon, otters, bats and even deer.
Rossall Tower, Fleetwood Leaning into Morecambe Bay, the area’s newest attraction offers an impressive view point and is in a prime position for bird watching. If you like this try Rivington Pike near Chorley for great inland views.
Discover the history of Samlesbury Hall and Gardens, complete with ghosts, Henry VIII and witches. (Small fees apply for tours and events)
Rivington Pike With a fascinating and fantasic history involving the decadent Lord Leverhulme, who built a retreat complete with fabulous chinese gardens here, it’s well worth a visit. See if you can climb all the way to the famous ‘Pike’ in clear conditions from the tower you can see the Cumbrian Fells in the Lake District, Blackpool Tower and the Isle of Man.
Pendle Sculpture Trail The fascinating true story of the Pendle Witches is being told in “stone”. The Pendle Sculpture Trail has ten ceramic plaques; enjoy finding the plaques as they are presented in a treasure trail style quiz to be hunted down and found!
Bay Cycle Way Cycle the stunning coastline of Morecambe Bay on the brand new Bay Cycle Way from Glasson Dock to Barrow.

Historic Houses
