1. Story Telling and Crafts Activity

In this activity, preschool children were encouraged to create puppets of crabs and fish. Prior to this activity, we gave their parents the required templates enabling the children to create the puppets at home. We also asked their parents to vote for their favourite Blue Flag beach and it turned out that the majority voted for the Bugibba Perched beach. During the activity, besides showing the participants pictures of the beach, we also filled a small pool with water and invited the targeted group of children to grab plastic taps from the floor and create the homes of their crab and fish puppets. Later, they were provided with the puppet board and the little ones played peek-a-boo with their peers.
