4. Underwater Archaeology

At the beginning of August, an interesting online session was conducted with Professor Timmy Gambin who is the Head of underwater archaeology within Heritage Malta. The session was open to everyone and was widely promoted on social media. The session focused on the underwater archaeological sites including one of the oldest shipwrecks in the world as well as other artefacts from WW1 and WW2. Professor Gambin, together with Vanessa Ciantar prepared an informative presentation comprising several videos and 3D renderings of some of the sites. An art activity concluded the session.
