The Norwegian Sawmill Museum – A journey through time

The sawmill was in use from 1884­1986. Buildings and objects from this period are preserved and displayed at the sawmill museum. It’s a living museum, with occasional production.

Welcome to our visitor’s centre with exhibitions, a small cinema, and an excellent view of Namsos. There’s a small museum shop and children’s play area. Coffee and sweet treats available during the summer. Great outdoors area by the sea.
