DONATE A TREE

Head to the Noosa Visitor Information Centre in Hastings Street and make a donation to the Trees for Tourism initiative. A proud partnership with Visit Noosa and Noosa & District Landcare, Trees for Tourism supports tree planting in the hinterland for land rehabilitation, carbon emission reduction and the protection and enhancement of koala habitat.

TAKE 3 FOR THE SEA

Take 3 pieces (or more!) of rubbish with you when you leave the beach or anywhere and you’ll make a difference.

SURF HEAVEN

Noosa is the 10th World Surfing Reserve, recognising the community’s surf and conservation culture and environmental protection. The 5km stretch of waves from the Noosa River mouth, around the Noosa National Park headland, to north

Sunshine Beach offers five world-class point breaks and three consistent beach breaks, with something to suit all surfers – from learners to champions.

GET HANDS ON

LOVE OUR WILDLIFE

Many animals live in or visit Noosa regularly as our pristine environment provides plenty of natural habitat. We ask you to help us look after our local furry, winged, prickly and water-dwelling residents and preserve their home. Remember not to feed them!

SAY NO TO PLASTICS

Noosa is dedicated to eliminating single-use plastics and was Australia’s first Plastic Free Destination. You’ll find Plastic Free Noosa Champion restaurants and cafés using green alternatives, and look out for our unique aluminium NOOSA bottled water in shops around town.
