ITINERARY: Day 1: Puno Upon arrival in Puno, meet and transfer to your Hotel Overnight - Hotel Meals: None Day 2: Puno F/D TAQUILE + UROS + LUNCH The trip begins early as you head out of the city of Puno towards Taquile Island, about 35 kilometers away and 3950 meters above sea level. The culture on the island is old, dating back to Pre-Incan times. The islanders still live according to the traditions and beliefs of their ancestors and are world renowned for their lovely outfits and incredible textiles. In fact, UNESCO has declared the textile art of Taquile Island as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Next, while still on the island, you will visit the community of Huayllano, whose members will show you their normal artistic, handicraft, and farming activities. After this time of sharing, you will enjoy a traditional lunch and then sail over to the famous Uros Islands, a set of man-made floating islands in the middle of the Lake Titicaca National Reserve. Here, you will meet the islanders, hunters and gatherers and descendants of the first altiplano inhabitants, who still live on totora reed platforms. At the end of the trip you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 3: Puno On the road to Sillustani

Time: 2 hours Your excursion begins on the Pan American Highway southbound and, when you reach Km marker 20, your driver will exit and take the road that connects Puno with Juliaca. This is the route to the Sillustani archeological site, whose appeal is the tall, stone burial towers, some of which stand 12 meters in height and are 7.5 meters in diameter. And with lovely Lake Umayo in the background, it’s an experience you’ll never forget.

Including  All services, lodging, food, and beverages mentioned in the trip description, plus taxes, tourist tickets, and entrance fees.  All excursions come with a guide in the Spanish or English language.  Our prices include entrance fees and tourist ticket costs to determined historical, natural, or religious landmarks that are managed by the local authorities in many cases. Costs may increase without prior warning. Condor Travel will notify you of these immediately and adjust the prices accordingly.

General Conditions  A quote for a program or service does not represent a valid reservation. You need to expressly request a reservation.  All quotes are subject to availability and to price adjustments due to availability. The rates will again be confirmed at the time the reservation is booked. 

For the exemption to be effective, passengers must check-in at the hotel with their original passport as well as their Andean Immigration Card, both duly stamped by the Peruvian

We need the complete flight itinerary and its corresponding record locator (PNR). Without this information, we cannot solve any problem that might occur because of airline-generated flight changes.



Prices are valid if all services are booked through Condor Travel. If any service (hotel, train, etc.) is not booked through us, we will apply a surcharge or fee and notify you of it at the proper time.



The prices we quote for your company are strictly confidential and cannot be used or sent to any of our potentially competing operators.

Reservation Policy  Due to our suppliers’ reservation policies, we require:  Individuals: Complete passenger information 30 days before service begins.  Groups: Preliminary passenger list 60 days before group arrival.

Payment Policy  Full payment for services must be made before passenger arrival, following these terms and conditions: o Individuals: 30 days prior to start of services.  

It may be necessary to put down a deposit or to make an advance payment for non-conventional programs, special events, or if it is the supplier’s policy. Condor Travel will inform you immediately of such a circumstance.

A 3.8% surcharge for financial processing costs will be applied to credit card payments.

Condor Travel Liability  Condor Travel’s liability for services not rendered and nonconformity with services purchased through us is limited. Condor Travel shall not be held liable for injuries, losses, accidents, delays, or any other irregularity that may take place due to omission or negligence on the part of the companies or individuals that provide transportation (or drive the vehicles), lodgings, or other tour-related services or for natural phenomena, disease, war, quarantines, strikes, interventions by police or customs / health authorities, or any other factor outside its control.

 

Condor Travel reserves the right to change any tour or excursion when it deems it necessary for providing better service to its customers.

Condor Travel shall not be held liable for required visas or vaccinations.

Condor Assistance Condor Assistance is our free emergency assistance program, with coverage throughout the entire country. All passengers will receive a program card and phone number, and with just one call they have access to:  Up to two doctor’s visits at the hotel.  Medical expenses coverage of up to 1000.00 USD.  Medical transport within Peru of up to 700.00 USD.  Medication up to 300.00 USD.  Baggage tracking assistance.  Assistance in the event of travel document loss.
