CUSCO: PALACIO DEL INKA 4 days / 3 nights Day 01
LIMA / CUSCO: CITY TOUR & 04 ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES: Arrival at cusco airport, assistance and transfer to your hotel. At the afternoon we will have the CITY TOUR + ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES: Half day tour. The first recommended trip as an introduction that allows for a better understanding. During the trip, we will get to know the Sun Temple (Koricancha) and the Cusco Cathedral, to later visit the four archeological sites that are found surrounding the city such as Kenko, PucaPucara, Tambomachay, and the impressive temple known as the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.
Day 02
CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY / CUSCO Breakfast at the hotel. This day will be a complete tour day and it will be from 09:00 am to 18:30 pm approximately. The journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the most impressive trips because we will visit Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. It is the second place more visited of Cusco after the trip done within the city. If our visit is on a Sunday, we will be able to witness a church service held in the Quechua language. On our way back to Cusco, we will be able to visit the awesome village of Chinchero.
DAY 03
FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU RUINS TOUR Breakfast at the hotel. Full day tour. Very early in the morning, you will be transfer from the hotel to the train station in Cusco for your trip to the Machu Picchu citadel. The trip to Machu Picchu will begin with an approximately two-hour trip to the town of Agua Calientes. We will arrive at the Aguas Calientes station, and then take the bus that will drop us off in Machu Picchu after a 30-minute trip. “Lost city of the Incas,” a Sanctuary and resting place for the Inca Pachacutec (1438 – 1572). Machu Picchu is considered a Cultural Heritage of Humanity according to the UNESCO, and it is one of the seven World Wonders. The excursion includes a guided tour of the Citadel, and you will visit the Principal Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sundial, the Royal Rooms, the Three Window Temple, and the Graveyards. In the afternoon, you will be transfe to Aguas Calientes train station and take the return trip to the Ollantaytambo or Cusco train station.
DAY 04
CUSCO / LIMA Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from the hotel to the airport, to take your flight to Lima.
