Ica Desert
The way the sun dies in the desert sands of Ica is probably one of the most beautiful sights visitors will ever enjoy. Travelers can enjoy it quietly or under the effect of sand dune sports’ adrenaline. Ica’s arid landscape contrasts with its fertile valleys. It is a land that gave birth to the ancient Paracas (800 BC - 600 AD) and Nasca (from 200 BC to AD 500) civilizations but also to the incomparable pisco grape brandy, Peru’s national spirit.
