Day 1: Lima to Paracas Today, at a coordinated time, be transferred from your Lima hotel to the local bus station, where you will take your first class bus or private vehicle to Paracas. The drive will take about 3.5 hours, and upon you arrival to Paracas, you will be met and transferred to the selected hotel.

Day 2: Ballestas Excursion In the morning, journey around the Ballestas Islands, where sea lions, Humboldt penguins, flamingos or pariguanas and other seabirds can be closely observed. On the way, you will journey round the Coast, where you can observe a Candelabra-shaped (or Cactus) feature, engraved in a hill. It is also known as “Tres Cruces” (Three Crosses) or "Tridente", and is located northwest of the Bay of Paracas, between Martín and Talpo beaches. Its origin is unknown however; many believe it’s related to the Nazca Lines.

In the afternoon, enjoy a Buggy ride in the desert sand dunes. Finally appreciate this areas spectacular sunset, before transferring to your hotel.

Buggy Adventure

Day 3: Overflight Nazca Lines Explore the beauty of the Paracas sand dunes and gaze in wonder at the enigmatic Nazca Lines in a low altitude.

Many theories have been formulated about these lines and incredible designs, some almost 300 meters long,… runways for alien spacecraft, lines of a giant seismograph… however, Maria Reiche, who spent her life studying them, has come up with the most plausible theory: that they form a gigantic astronomical calendar based on the movement of the sun. The lines themselves run from simple designs to more than 30 complex animal figures, such as a monkey, spider, and hummingbird. Come and enjoy this spectacular experience.

Return to the Hotel. Relaxing time by the pool.

Day 4: Paracas – Lima Today, you will be transferred back to Lima. Upon arrival, you will be met at the Bus Station by the Transport Officer to take you to your Hotel or to Lima airport to board your flight .
