Pasco Peru Huayllay Stone Forest - Luis Gamero


Welcome to Pasco 45 km (28 miles) south of the city of Cerro de Pasco, the departmental capital, there is the Huayllay National Sanctuary, a natural sanctuary for a wide range of different species of flora and fauna and the impressive Huayllay Stone Forest, an extensive rocky area with enormous sculputural forms that apprear to have been carved in the stone by the wind and rain. Altitude Cerro de Pasco 4 338 masl (14 232 feet)
