SOUTHERN PERU CIRCUIT IN BUS (12D/11N) Destinations: Lima. Trip Experience: Cultural, Historic, and Scenic Tourism. USD 1227 Day 1 Lima / City Tour Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. We will spend the night at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will begin out tour through the modern residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. After the tour, you will have the option to stay at the Inca Market, in Larcomar or return to the hotel. Food: None. Additional Information: The trip is a shared service for every category. The times of the City Tour can start at 9 am or 2 pm. Daily tours. Duration: 3 and a half hours. Day 2 Lima / Paracas/ Nazca Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the bus station to depart to Paracas. We will head to the Chaco station to go to the Ballestas Islands in which we will be able to see the pelicans, sea lions and the Humboldt penguins. During the trip, we will be also be able to see the mysterious lines in the sand that form the shape of a candle. Transfer to Nazca in bus. We will then head to the selected hotel. Day 3 Nazca / Arequipa After breakfast, we will head to the Nazca airport for a 30 minute flight in a small-high wing aircraft over the desert and the mysterious Nazca lines (these lines can only be appreciated in the air and have different animal shapes such as the spider, the monkey, the dog, the lizard, the hummingbird, and the condor). The Nazca lines reach dimensions of 15 to 300 meters with a depth of 30 cm. Transfer to the station to take a bus to the city of Arequipa. We will be arriving at night. Transfer to the hotel. Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. We will Santa Catalina Monastery, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the San Francisco Small Plaza, the main colonial houses, the dome and the convents of the Compañía de Jesús, and the Yanahura Observatory. In the morning, you will be picked up at the hotel. We will leave through the North Highway, going around the Chachani Volcano and we will arrive at Pampa Cañahuas, which is the National Reserve of vicuñas. We will appreciate the view of the snowcapped Mount Chucura, the small lakes of Toqra and Patapapa, HualcaHualca, the Andes Mountains, and the Andes Observatory, from which the snowcapped Mount Ampato can be appreciated, Then we will arrive at Chivay and register at the hotel. In the afternoon, you will be able to enjoy the thermal baths (does not include entry to the baths). We will be spending the night in Colca. Food: Breakfast and lunch. Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel. We will leave for the Cruz del Cóndor Observatory in order to see the spectacular view of the condors flying in the blue skies. In addition, there will also be an opportunity to observe the depth of the Colca Canyon (3000 meters in depth). We will stay there for about an hour and 30 minutes. Then, we will have a 6 hour trip to Puno. A few minutes in, we will be at the highest point of our trip (4800 meters above sea level) in which we will see Patapampa. Following this, we will head to our next stop, the Lagunillas lagoon, located in Puno (4174 meters above sea level). We will then continue on our trip to the city of Puno. Food: Breakfast and lunch. Day 7 Lake Titicaca Trip Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up from the hotel in the morning. We will begin the visit to the Uros islands, where around 40 separate islands inhabited by families constitute an important floating archipelago. Even today they practice ancient traditions with predominant Aymara influence, their lives linked to the totora (aquatic plant). We will continue our visit to the Taquile island. A trail of aligned and zigzagging stones will lead us to the town after an approximately one hour trip. In the town, we will have the guide explain and interact with the island people, observing
