Our cuisine Tradition and f lavor
PERU’S CUISINE IS FAMOUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD BECAUSE IT BLENDS ANCESTRAL WISDOM WITH THE NEWEST CONTEMPORARY CULINARY TECHNIQUES.
Peruvian gastronomy is inheritance and tradition. The potato, for example, was first domesticated in ancient Peru and today this versatile tuber has more than three thousand varieties. It was in Peru that Andean grains such as quinoa and kiwicha were born. So too, corn—which records show is more than seven thousand years old—and custard apples. Our gastronomy was enriched by the arrival of the Spaniards and, later, through the appearance of immigrants from China, from Japan, and from Italy and other European countries. The process of adaptation and synergy has led to a cuisine that is a fusion of original, tasty, and varied concepts that have a soul of their own.
World-class quality throughout the day Peruvian cuisine will add that special touch to your event. When it comes time to dine, you will be able to discover any part of our vast geography, whether opting for homemade dishes or more avant-garde

Center and Epicenter Lima is filled with history. Its neoclassical and baroque architecture, in the form of museums and churches, affords the visitor a glimpse of our colonial past. In a single glance we can travel from the 17th to the 21st century. From the top of a modern building, we can cast our eyes towards the beauty and mystery of pre-Columbian temples; several ancient ceremonial sites known as huacas dot the urban footprint and form part of the itinerary of many city tours. Impressive ocean views are available from a splendid promenade that runs almost the length of city along the cliff top; it is here that the gentle sea breeze can accompany a pleasant stroll or a bicycle ride. Lima has been growing continuously for more than fifteen years, a boom driven primarily by domestic and foreign private investment, especially in the tourism sector. Having hosted many major events over recent years, the capital has developed modern infrastructure that is capable of rising to the demands of any occasion. The entertainment sector has also expanded and now offers options that surpass expectations.

THE MOST ATTRACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT AND RECREATION CONCEPTS, WITH OCEAN VIEWS.
Elegant, dynamic, versatile and, above all, friendly. And if all that isn’t enough, it even faces the ocean. Lima, the capital of Peru, had long been preparing to adapt to the changes of the 21st century. And now it has succeeded, surpassing even its own high expectations. Our capital delivers unique experiences and lives the current millennium through modern technologies and the latest trends yet without neglecting its valuable Inca and colonial past. Modernity coexists with tradition in way that is perhaps unique amongst the region’s capital cities.

Littoral legacy The bay of Paracas is located amongst dunes along a splendid coastline where quiet beaches and remnants of vast pre-Hispanic culture await. With such a rich past, desert landscapes, and the abundant and varied marine fauna, it is no surprise to find a large supply of high quality hotels. The refreshing sea breeze will afford a special touch to any event or meeting hosted overlooking the ocean. The climate along this coast is mild and the beaches are bathed by calm and gentle waves that resemble those of a lagoon. The Paracas National Reserve is proof of the region’s biodiversity. This area, protected by the State, conserves a representative sample of the world’s richest marine ecosystems. The Ballestas Islands are home to sea lions; to Humboldt penguins; and to birds, such as the guanay, the booby, and the Inca tern.

Paracas is less than four hours from Lima by road. Inhabitants of the capital in search of the sun often visit the bay for weekend getaways. The weather is sunny in the morning; the aridness of the location makes the nights cooler. In this endless sweep of desert surrounded by pre-Hispanic culture you can enjoy charming experiences and combine the busy pace of business with the gentle winds of the coast and the warm southern sun.
Perfect weather all year round Paracas has cool nights and sunny days throughout the year, and receives very little rain. Here you can be confident of conducting your event outdoors.

SAIL AND EXPLORE THE WATERS OF THE PACIFIC BY BOAT. Your event participants in Paracas will have no difficulty finding ways to use their free time. The Paracas National Reserve is a magical place, rich in landscapes that leave visitors breathless. The beaches remain largely undiscovered; a dip in the waters that lap them is the ideal way to recharge one’s energy. The Ballestas Islands are nearly; a world of biodiversity, and believed to be home to thirty-six species of marine and terrestrial mammals and 215 migratory birds.
Living culture The ancient inhabitants of the area specialized in metallurgy and textile production. Today we can purchase craft items that emulate techniques from that culture. The blankets produced in Paracas continue to amaze the world. Natural dyes, such as vegetables, animals, and minerals are applied to the finest clothing materials, such as cotton, and alpaca or vicuña fiber. Metal crafts too are available at local artisan stores. These items consist of ornaments made with gold, like those once produced for Paracas royalty, mirrors made of silver, and plates and drinking vessels that include copper elements.
Entertainment / Group activities - Boat trips to the Paracas National Reserve. - Desert adventures in dune buggies and 4x4. - Flights over the Nasca Lines from the airport at Pisco. - Visits to the wineries and Pisco vineyards.

Country splendor Known as the White City, Arequipa is famed for its buildings constructed with the white volcanic sillar stone, a material extracted from the local area and from the Misti volcano, of which visitors to the city have an outstanding view. The sun shines brightly almost all year round. The city’s history center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the way in which the Andean and Spanish-colonial architectures converge. It is located in the valley of the Chili River and surrounded by a vast and verdant countryside from where the products served each day at the table are harvested. Choosing Arequipa as the venue for your event will assure your participants experience unforgettable landscapes, a dry and sunny climate ideal for any outdoor activities, and tasty meals for their palates that are full of personality and will live long in their memory.

Arequipa is Peru’s second largest city and, because of its level of economic development (particularly in tourism and agribusiness), the principal center in the south of the country. The food and customs reflect its strategic location between the sea and the Andes mountains. Here, event participants can recharge their energy after a day’s work by escaping to try the delicious and invigorating gastronomy, or by visiting the neighboring countryside and its volcanoes.
Sunny skies all year round The dry climate, the cool nights, and the consistently blue skies provide ideal conditions for your event and offer the alternative of an indoor venue, such as a colonial home, or a site in the open air, such as the courtyard of a colonial mansion made of sillar. The White City enjoys a climate as friendly as its people, and you can be confident that the light and temperature will be perfect for your event.

USE YOUR FREE TIME TO EXPLORE THE CITY AND CREATE A TRAVEL MEMORY TO TREASURE. The sillar stone buildings are the principal attraction of Arequipa’s historic center. This material, extracted from nearby quarries and volcanoes, is used in the neoclassical cathedral, in certain government buildings, and in the arches of the arcades that line the main square. No visit to Arequipa is complete with a tour of the city’s religious sites, such as the Santa Catalina Monastery, and the church and convent of San Francisco, both examples of the fusion of Spanish and Andean construction.
Art and crafts Arequipa crafts are known for their delicate preparation in sillar, in both traditional and modern finishes. Handicraft stores and the best hotels also offer alpaca fiber textiles, copper embossing, leather and wood carving, and beautiful embroidery using ancestral techniques.

Cusco I 57
The empire at your command The capital of the Tahuantinsuyo is one of the world’s most visited cities. Known as the Navel of the World, Cusco attracts visitors from the six continents and its infrastructure for meetings and events takes advantage of the city’s appearance, which mixes the Inca, the mestizo and the modern. Visiting the city center is like taking a journey back in time. Today, with the arrival of people from overseas who have chosen to settle here, a more cosmopolitan atmosphere has developed in Cusco, and with it has come a need to accommodate increasingly knowledgeable and demanding travelers. This city is receiving ever more acclaim for its corporate tourism services, especially for those who seek authentic and personalized experiences and who wish to come into contact with nature. The quality of Cusco’s hotels has been recognized through numerous international tourism industry awards. Their colonial architecture, the vestiges of the Inca era that they house, and the technology and comforts of the current century that they afford, make these spaces ideal venues for distinctive events and a unique stay. Cusco will leave your participants with memories of moments filled with mysticism that endure because they come from having spent time at the heart of an ancient culture.

TRAINS THAT SHORTEN DISTANCES IN THE HEIGHTS OF CUSCO; WHERE HISTORY AND NATURE GO HAND IN HAND. The imperial city is filled with churches, streets, and ancient structures in which the colonial and Inca pasts coexist. Day tours are available to colonial religious sites, such as the Cathedral, the Church of San Francisco, and the Santo Domingo monastery; and to archaeological sites, such as the Qoricancha, which itself is also available to host events.
Dream Tours In the surrounds, less than an hour from the historic center of the city, guides conduct personal tours of the archaeological remains of Inca cities such as Qenqo, Sacsayhuaman, and Tambomachay. If more free time is available, tours can reach citadels in the Sacred Valley, such as Pisac, Chinchero, and Ollantaytambo. Naturally, a visit to the historic sanctuary of Machupicchu is almost obligatory, time permitting. Luxurious trains, each targeting a different segment, leave every day from the near the city. Once on board, this form of transport delivers entertainment and all the important creature comforts. Your participants will miss nothing whilst they enjoy moments of great adventure.
