SMITH ROCK INFORMATION TO KNOW:
• Smith Rock attracts climbers, hikers, mountain bikers, trail runners and horseback riders year-round.
• Several miles of developed hiking trails, ranging from easy to di cult, provide access to popular rock climbing areas, o ering expansive views along the Crooked River and from the top of the Summit Trail and Misery Ridge Trail.
• Misery Ridge Trail, one of the park's most popular though di cult trails, gains 900 feet of altitude in less than 1 mile.
• More than 1,800 climbing routes exist in and around Smith Rock, making it one of the world's premier climbing destinations.
• Oregon State Park permit required. Day-use permits sold on-site.
