MARAGAS WINERY

Central Oregon’s rst and largest winery, Maragas, is an award-winning boutique winery established in 1999. Located in a unique microclimate, Maragas discovered their Vineyard is suitable for several di erent European varietals and French American hybrids. Using wine making techniques handed down from generation to generation in the Maragas family, their mission is to make old world handcrafted barrel aged wines unique to their style, and exemplifying complex avor. No Central Oregon wine tour is complete without a stop at Volcano Vineyards. After moving to Bend, from San Francisco, they launched with just two red wines: 2003 Merlot and Syrah. Since that time, they have expanded their o erings to include Viognier, white and red blends, and several second labels. e Bend Blend White and Bend Blend Red wines feature French-American hybrid grapes grown here in Central Oregon at Monkey Face Vineyard in Ranch of the Canyons, in Terrebonne.
