Getting here Travelling by air
Sunshine Coast Airport is conveniently located in the heart of the region. Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia offer direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne, and commencing in September 2016, Jetstar will also offer direct flights from Adelaide three times a week. Air New Zealand offers seasonal direct flights from Auckland. Alternatively, fly into Brisbane Airport (Domestic and International), just one hour’s drive south of the Sunshine Coast.
By road The Sunshine Coast is located only one hour north of Brisbane. Getting around the region is easy by road with rental cars, buses and private transfers available.
