MYKINES – SUNSET AND PUFFINS

You’ll be away from the crowds and have the chance to watch the puffins with a local guide. Take the ferry to Mykines at 16.20 and return again at 12.15 the next day. Fight like a Viking: Release your inner Viking warrior! Join us to develop your fighting skills with sword and axe, so that you may vanquish your foes. Get ready for some fun from the past and behave like a true Viking. Please dress accordingly for the weather conditions.

NORÐLÝSIÐ – Iconic Faroese sailing ship

Restored by the Faroese artist Tróndur Patursson in the 80s, the Faroese-built wooden sailship Norðlýsið (nor-lui-si) has become an icon for visitors and locals alike. The ship offers the perfect way to experience the Faroe Islands from the sea. Although authentic, the ship offers modern toilets, heating and ventilation for our guest’s comfort. Experience the Faroe Islands from the sea in the morning, the afternoon or in the bright Faroese summer evening. Or go on the sea grotto concert tour for the adventure of a lifetime – a live acoustic concert in a deep sea cave.

Or, alternatively, take the “fish & eat trip” and fish as people did in the old days. Naturally, the trip ends with a meal, prepared from the catch. Check availability on the website.
