Visit Heibrith for some quality flow yoga in the scenic coastal village of Velbastaður, only a few minutes’ drive from Tórshavn. The yoga session takes place in the open air and offers a combination of panoramic views, beautiful countryside and fresh air. Join us on a fabulous two and a half hour guided beer walk in beautiful Tórshavn with beer tastings and lots of stories – a great opportunity for something a bit different. It is all good fun and educational, too, and can be experienced on foot with BeerTastings from OY Brewing and Mikkeller. Most of the tour takes place outdoors, in all weathers, with a local beer guide (dress accordingly to the weather forecast). On this beer walk we end up at OY Brewing for the final tastings and a tour of the brewery. If you are hungry, food is sold and served right where the beer is brewed.

BOAT.FO - AUTHENTIC BOAT TOURS

The “Guided Boat tour” has many dimensions. You visit magnificent fiords observing landscapes with gorges and grottoes, perfect for photography. Stories of people’s way of life on these shores come to life. Mindful attention is given to wildlife. We bring fishing rods and bait. Casting a line you have a great chance of catching fish that you are welcome to keep. Duration: 4 hours. Price: 1.295 DKK

The “Fishing trip” takes you to secluded fiords with rich fishing grounds. The fishing is mainly deep-sea angling below a hundred feet of water. Depending on the area and the species we are trying to catch, we may try bait fishing or jigging. A variety of fish species are possible catches including haddock, Atlantic cod, saithe, whiting and redfish. Your catch is yours to keep! Duration: 4 hours. Price: 1.295 DKK. The “Family tour” is designed to engage. For a family with children, this is the perfect way to build memories. The traditional Faroese boat allows for hands-on activity. The children may be active in steering the boat, controlling the outboard engine, observing birdlife and catching fish. The focus is on the living marine environment. Duration: 4 hours. PAINT THE FAROE ISLANDS – OUTDOOR PAINTING

Create your own painting of an iconic location in the Faroe Islands. All painting is assisted by a dedicated and experienced outdoor painter. For novices as well as experienced plein-air painters .Standing outdoors in the elements and to paint the magnificent nature of the Faroe Islands is all about immersing yourself in the subject and your surroundings. It’s an opportunity to get upclose to nature, its sounds and smells and you’ll connect to the weather in a more intimate way. Depending on the weather, we choose a suitable location for a painting and will paint there for about three hours, making time for coffee or tea and some snacks. You’ll get your painting home with you in a wet canvas carrier. We can collect up to two people from an agreed location on the central islands. Groups of three or more have to arrange their own transportation.

GUIDED WALK THROUGH TÓRSHAVN’S OLD TOWN, TINGANES

Historic Tinganes is the oldest part of Tórshavn and still today houses the Prime Minister’s office and several government departments. This district has always been the political and commercial heart of the Faroe Islands and over the centuries has been a place of murky commercial dealings and political struggles as well as romance and intrigue. Who knows, you may even bump into the Faroese Prime Minister as you wander around here. NORÐLÝSIÐ – Iconic Faroese sailing ship

Restored by the Faroese artist Tróndur Patursson in the 80s, the Faroese-built wooden sailship Norðlýsið (nor-lui-si) has become an icon for visitors and locals alike. The ship offers the perfect way to experience the Faroe Islands from the sea. Although authentic, the ship offers modern toilets, heating and ventilation for our guest’s comfort. Experience the Faroe Islands from the sea in the morning, the afternoon or in the bright Faroese summer evening. Or go on the sea grotto concert tour for the adventure of a lifetime – a live acoustic concert in a deep sea cave.

MYKINES TOURS

Visit Mykines – the remote puffin island. Stay in a newly built apartment in Mykineslon and dine in Mykinesstova, the 100 year old building, which was once used as a studio by famous painter, Sámal Joensen Mikines, who was born on the island. This tour includes transport to/from Tórshavn with car and ferry, accommodation in Mykineslon, a evening meal and breakfast in Mykinesstova. Use the time in Mykines to see puffins or do some hiking, and hopefully you will get to experience the beautifull sunset in Mykines.

NATURE PRINTING WORKSHOP WITH EDITH MØRKØRE

Faroese artist, Edith Mørkøre, welcomes you to her studio where you will be given the opportunity to make your very own nature prints of any flowers, leaves or plants you may have found while out walking or hiking. Nature printing is a beautiful and original way of taking a souvenir of your travels home with you. The workshops are held every weekday and last 2 hours. Each workshop can cater for all levels of experience, from beginner to professional printmaker. All materials used are environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

FAROE ISLANDS SURFGUIDE

Welcome to surfers’ paradise in Tjørnuvík! This is your chance to surf the perfect wave all year and take in some epic views whilst you’re at it. Local surfers and instructors will give you a 2 hour lesson or surf session, depending on your ability, and will provide you with full equipment and safety training. Join us as a beginner or professional, or as a single person or a group. We can also arrange a combined tour with paddle boarding (SUP), snorkeling, cliff jumping from different heights and cave exploration. Afterwards we’ll serve food and drinks in our Surf Shack on the beach. All you need to bring is swimwear and towel. You can also enjoy our hot tub with a drink and a view for an additional price.
