Jenny Lind & The Greatest Showman

In 1850 Lind sailed to America to tour after being approached by P.T. Barnum, as portrayed in The Greatest Showman. Her final public performance was on 23 July 1883 at the Royal Malvern Spa Hall, West Malvern. She spent her final years at Wynd's Point on the Malvern Hills.

The Inspirational Worcestershire Cotswolds

J.M. Barrie, author of Peter Pan, played cricket in the Worcestershire Cotswold village of Broadway between 1890 – 1913 with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Jerome K Jerome, A.A. Milne and P.G. Woodhouse.

Broadway Tower, was used as a holiday retreat by the architect, designer and ‘Father of the Arts & Craft movement’ William Morris. He was joined by his friends Edward Burne-Jones and Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
