VNTD Magazine was always been a joint venture but we wanted the publication to stand up by itself rather than be associated with a particular individual. We felt the only way to ensure that the magazine was attributed equally was to not include our names at all. This would avoid the possibility of friction between us as we fought to publicise ourselves in a compulsive tagging game. This brings us to the title: Friction.
