ABSTRACT 2005, Boston, MIT University, is starting the course “How to make almost anything”, held by prof. Neil Gershenfeld, director of the Research Center Atoms & Bits. The course was created with the idea of learning for engineering students to use sophisticated machinery and innovative technologies (3D printing, CNC machines, laser cutting machines, etc. ...), but soon it was noted that creativity was the main feature. In fact, thanks to the use of these tools, it was possible to implement ideas that until recently could only be on paper. From this premise, the philosophy of Fabrication Laboratory, or Fab Lab, was inspired.
2005, Boston, MIT University, sta per iniziare il corso “How to make almost anything”, tenuto dal prof.
