‘Fáilte’ drive to save tourist trade WATERFORD is hanging out a giant Céad Mile Fáilte to the rest of Ireland. A campaign to welcome visitors and save the summer is being launched on television, radio, print and social media. It will run throughout July, with the theme of ‘You’re invited, come and see’. importance of the community supporting local businesses. “Waterford is steeped in culture, heritage, scenery with excellent hospitality and leisure amenities,” he said. “With people reticent to travel too far, there is a host of things to do, see and experience in Waterford.”
