How to Get To Muddy Boots

You need to eat, right?

Well we’ve got it all figured out: Takeaway Lunches & Picnic Facilities If the weather’s good, load up on some goodies from our Farm Shop, or the takeaway options in the Muddy Boots Café, and grab one of our picnic tables?

Farm Shop Feeling creative? Make your own lunch with fresh produce from our Farm Shop. There’s loads of deli foods and fresh breads, not to mention the ice cream. Oh my. Ice cream.

Café Warm up in front of the wood burning stove in our café, and indulge in some of the best home baking that Scotland has to offer. On warm days we also have an outdoor seating area so you can eat Al Fresco. We don’t quite know who Al Fresco is, but you can eat him. Apparently.

By Road Muddy Boots is centrally located in Fife on the A914 between Glenrothes and Cupar.

By Public Transport Situated on a main road, there are regular public bus routes that stop in Balmalcolm from various originations in Fife as well as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and St Andrews.

Looking for a perfect day out for ALL the family? Then you’ve found it. Muddy Boots is a family run kids adventure play centre, situated right next to our fabulously foody Farm Shop and Café. With a whole range of activities that take place both indoors and outdoors, we’re open throughout the year and you’ll be guaranteed a warm family welcome, and a fantastic fun environment for everyone.

A little drop of rain never harmed anyone, but if you prefer to keep dry Muddy’s Soft Play Barn and Pottery Painting is perfect for you.

You can’t beat a good dose of Scottish fresh air, and we’ve got bucket loads of fun activities for you to choose from to ensure you get your fair share. Choose from zorbing, our giant jumping pillow, grass sledging (a must), and (if you’re small enough) don’t miss our Quad Train. Add in a giant sandpit and some giro cars and you have the recipe for endless hours of family fun.

Suitable for all ages, the kids can run around and let off steam, or explore their creative side before refuelling again in Muddy Boots Café.

Day passes start from just £3.50 per day.
