“A Truly Canadian Adventure”

Lake Louise

Foreword

Voyages.golf invites you to the Canadian Rockies for an inclusive tour of the Great White North in 2025. Cast your mind to mid-summer in the Rockies, with mountain vistas and the smell of pines as you tee off with a small group of likeminded golfers with nothing else on your mind than hitting it straight & rushing for your camera when elk roam by. This is Canada, and we invite you to join us in this comprehensive, luxury 18-night tour in August 2025.

This tour is limited to 20 likeminded golfers and begins in British Columbia’s Vancouver, guided by our experienced tour hosts.

We set course for the north-east, heading to Whistler for four nights, Kamloops for one, and stopping in the stunning town of Revelstoke for a night of exploration along the Columbia River. We change course directly east through the mountainous pass called Golden, before spending four nights in the center of Banff, where bears, elk, and moose frequent.

“Upon meeting the Voyages Team in person you immediately liked Harry, Glenn and Gayle, as their enthusiasim and great personalities shone through straight away. Any questions that you had were answered promptly and with ease over the week and the organisation of every part of the weeks events and the venues was handled seamlessly including carrying everyones golf bags to the bus at Natadola which was no mean feat. In all I give the VG team 10 out of 10 in all areas and look forward to joining them on another great event in the future.

Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1: Tuesday 12 August 2025

• Arrive & check into the Hilton Vancouver Downtown for two nights.

• After settling in, join your tour hosts downstairs for a welcome drink with some canapés included. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your tour hosts, greet other tour participants, and catch up after your arrivals. You will be able to ask any questions and sort out any queries you may have prior to the tour commencing.

Day 2: Wednesday 13 August 2025 (B)

• After breakfast at your leisure, we’ll meet downstairs and head off for a half-day discovery tour of Vancouver. This gorgeous city is the capital of British Columbia and is located on a narrow stretch of land in the Burrard Inlet. Most of the suburbs stretch north and south of the CBD, but we’re staying in the heart of town.

• Included activity: Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

• We’ll discover Vancouver’s beautiful multicultural background, amazing Stanley Park, and of course the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park which has plenty of history to tell. Vancouver was incorporated as a city in 1886 and it quickly grew as a result of its strategic location and the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway.

• Overnight at the Hilton Vancouver Downtown.

Day 3: Thursday 14 August 2025 (B)

• Today we’ll pack up and leave the big city behind. We’re headed into the Canadian Rockies with our first stop at Whistler & Blackcomb Resort. We’ll drop our luggage off at the Westin which is right in town before heading over to the gondola to enjoy a scenic afternoon on the mountaintop. Bring your camera because over 60 bears live in the region and you’ll enjoy sweeping views over Whistler and surrounds.

• Featured activity: Peak2Peak Gondola Ride.

• This evening we’ve got a hosted dinner included for you at one of Whistler’s best restaurants (venue TBA). We like to save our welcome dinner until a few nights in to ensure everyone has the chance to meet before sitting down to a meal together.

• Overnight at the Westin Resort Whistler.

Day 4: Friday 15 August 2025 (B )

• After breakfast at your leisure, we’ll transfer to the nearby Nicklaus North Course designed by Jack Nicklaus himself. This golf course opened in 1995 and features a par of 71 at just under 7000 yards from the tips. It is ranked as one of the top courses in Canada, so be prepared to kickstart our Canadian adventure with a premium golfing experience.

• Non-golfers: Enjoy free day in Whistler Village - There is so much to see & do in town.

• After lunch at the golf course, we’ll return to the Hotel and you have a free afternoon to spend at your leisure.

Day 5: Saturday 16 August 2025 (B)

• For our second round of golf, we’re heading a little out of town to Pemberton to play Big Sky Golf Course. This premiere public-access course is one of the most scenic we’ll play as it is situated at the base of steep mountains. This golf course was designed by Robert Cupp and opened in 1994. The course is meticulously maintained and features meandering holes, large lakes, and fast greens.

• After lunch at the club, we’ll return to Whistler for an afternoon spent relaxing at your own pace.

• Non-golfers: Unwind at the Scandinave Spa (outdoor thermal spa & massages)

Day 6: Sunday 17 August 2025 (B)

• After breakfast at your leisure, we’ll enjoy a short 5-minute transfer to the nearby Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course for a round on the Robert Trent Jones-designed 18-hole course. This is one of the most beautiful golf courses on our itinerary. Playing here is the perfect way to end our Whistler visit with stunning views of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains in the background.

• After lunch at the golf course, we’ll return to the Hotel and you have a free afternoon to spend at your leisure. This is our final night in Whistler, so ensure you enjoy it.

• Non-golfers: Take off on a private bear-viewing tour

Day 7: Monday 18 August 2025 (B)

• Today you get a well-deserved sleep-in. We’ll check-out at 10 AM and depart for Kamloops with a leisurely drive through the Canadian Rockies. We’ll stop for the best views and coffee if time permits. Our destination today is Kamloops as we’re heading ultimately for Vernon, which is too far to drive in one day.

• On arrival in Kamloops, we head for the Delta Hotel by Marriott for one night. This is a regional city, so there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We have a night to relax and spend at your leisure.

Day 8: Tuesday 19 August 2025 (B, D)

• Today we have another travel day. We’ll load onto our luxury coach and drive to Vernon with fantastic viewing opportunities throughout. We’ve got a leisurely two-hour drive to Vernon, which is situated on the east shores of Lake Okanagan, a famous vineyard area known for its diverse microclimates and red-producing varieties including Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah but more on this later.

• On arrival, we’ll check into the Predator Ridge Resort, one of Canada’s famous golfing destinations. This evening enjoy a hosted dinner at the Resort inclusive of drinks to kick-start a wonderful four-night stay at this premier golf resort.

Day 9: Wednesday 20 August 2025 (B)

• After a few days’ break, we’re back to golf, so enjoy a big breakfast before heading to the onsite Predator Course. Designed by Les Furber and opened in 1991, this course is set on the sweeping plains of the Okanagan Valley, but don’t be fooled: this is a challenging test of golf despite the amazing views. The design philosophy here is “bring your camera and remember golf is your recreation and not your occupation.”

• After lunch at the club, enjoy an afternoon spent relaxing at the Resort or heading into the nearby town of Vernon for dinner at your leisure.

• Non-golfers: Enjoy lunch in downtown Vernon with free time for shopping.

Day 10: Thursday 21 August 2025 (B)

• We’ll leave our clubs in the bag today as we meet in the lobby ready for a full-day tour of the Okanagan Valley. This area is famous for its red-producing wines and we’ll visit some stunning vineyards for tastings followed by a meal paired with the best local wines. Hear the stories of the vintners and their vineyards as they brave cold winters and short summers.

• This afternoon and evening are spent relaxing at the Resort.

Day 11: Friday 22 August 2025 (B )

• After a few days’ break, we’re back to golf, so enjoy a big breakfast before heading to the onsite Ridge Course. Designed by Doug Carrick (you will hear his name a few times on this trip), the Ridge Course is the newer of the two onsite golf courses and ranks higher on the international publications’ rankings. It is tighter, visually stunning, and more technical, but we love it for the views and shot-making requirements. We prefer this course because it is much more modern and meanders through the hillside, but they are both world-class golf courses.

• We’ll enjoy lunch at the club, so afterward you’ll have the late afternoon and evening to relax, perhaps play some tennis or hire a bike from the resort to do some trail riding for the more adventurous among us.

• Non-golfers: Free day at The Resort

Day 12: Saturday 23 August 2025 (B)

• We resume our Canadian Rockies journey today by heading northeast for the Golden Passage, but before we get there, we’ll stop for two nights at the Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke. This is a famous skiing destination, but in summer it is absolutely stunning and there is a reason why we’re spending two nights here.

• After settling into the Sutton Place Hotel, we want to bring the group together for a fun evening enjoying a meal together with your tour leaders. We have some drinks included too, so enjoy your night; we’re walking distance from the hotel, so you can peel off at any time.

Day 13: Sunday 24 August 2025 (B)

• Today we’re playing a very scenic, hidden gem: Revelstoke Golf Club. Nestled on the banks of the Columbia River, this fantastic golf course is not in any world-rankings but we often like to find a hidden gem to play on each tour which Wow’s our guests, and this is a big contender. We’ll enjoy a relaxed day in the Revelstoke Valley playing the game we love on one of the best courses in the Rockies.

• After golf, we head back to the Hotel to relax. You might like to head into town for the afternoon to see more of Revelstoke, which was founded in the 1880s during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway. It has a rich history in railway and the logging industries, and it’s a beautiful place in summer.

• Non-golfers: Free day in Revelstoke Village; enjoy art galleries, Grizzly Plaza, Cafes, Museums and the Columbia River.

Day 14: Monday 25 August 2025 (B)

• After breakfast at your leisure, we’ve got a three-hour drive through the Golden Passage to Panorama Resort, which is another famous skiing destination but also home to Greywolf Golf Course, one of Canada’s top public golf courses (playing tomorrow).

• We’re staying here for one night to play golf before heading off tomorrow, but this afternoon after settling in you can enjoy a ride on the 1-Mile Express chairlift, head out for a walk, enjoy an ATV tour, play disc golf, or swim at the Resort’s heated pools.

I T I N E R A R Y

Day 15: Tuesday 26 August 2025 (B )

• After breakfast at your leisure, we’ll check out and head to the nearby Greywolf Golf Course for a fun day of golf. This Doug Carrick-designed golf course opened in 1999 and is nestled between the Purcell Mountains next to Panorama Resort. The famous cliff-hanger par-3 is one for the memory bank. Enjoy this 18-hole mountain course as it is a firm favorite for visiting golfers.

• After lunch at the club, we’ve got a two-hour drive northeast to Banff, which is the last stop on our journey. We’ll check into the Peaks Hotel & Suites, a modern hotel located in central Banff, so you can enjoy all the restaurants on your doorstep.

• Non-golfers: Enjoy a yoga class in the morning, followed by a gondola ride up the 1 Mile Quad.

Day 16: Wednesday 27 August 2025 (B)

• Today is a sightseeing day. We’ll visit the Columbia Icefields where we will discover the power of glaciers and see the source of the mighty Columbia River, which flows into the Pacific Ocean. Here you have an immersive experience with a snow-coach tour included. You’ll be taken to the glacier itself with a guided narrator learning the history of the Athabasca Glacier during the journey. Also, enjoy entry to the skywalk which provides unparalleled views over the glacier.

• After sightseeing, we’ll have lunch on the way back to Banff, stopping at the gorgeous Lake Louise for a photo before returning to the Hotel and an evening at your leisure.

Day 17: Thursday 28 August 2025 (B,)

• After breakfast at your leisure, we return to golf. Meet in the lobby ready for a day out at Kananaskis Golf Course, where we’ll play Mt Kidd, the better of the two 18-hole courses at Kananaskis Country Golf Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr, this golf course opened in 1983 and was one of the first designs in the region. It is known for its challenging layout, stunning views and meticulous design. It’s rated as one of the top courses in the Rockies.

• After lunch at the Club, we’ll return to Banff to unwind and relax at your own pace.

• Non-golfers: Enjoy a soak in the Banff Upper Hot Springs, followed by a scenic Gondolda ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain.

Day 18: Friday 29 August 2025 (B D)

• For our final day of golf, we head to one of the best golf courses in Canada: Banff Springs Golf Club. This Stanley Thompson which opened in 1928. This has been one of the stalwarts of Canadian Golf so enjoy this fantastic layout with its amazing views. This is an iconic experience to say the least. We’ll have a light lunch at the club before returning to the Hotel.

• This evening, you are officially invited to our Farewell Dinner with drinks included so enjoy your final night in the company of friends old and new (venue TBA).

• Non-golfers: Enjoy free time exploring Banff Town (shopping, cafes & more).

Day 19: Saturday 30 August 2025 (B)

• It’s time to pack up and load into the luxury bus one more time. We check out and head to Calgary (airport code YYC). We estimate arriving at Calgary Airport around 11 AM, so please book your departure flights after 1 PM (Saturday 30 August 2025).

Golf Pairings & Format

This golf tour is open to anyone. You do not have to have a certain handicap to play any of the golf courses on tour. For maximum enjoyment, on the tour, we recommend you have at least basic knowledge of golf courses, etiquette and scoring.

By joining the tour as a golfer or a non-golfer, you must stay in your category. This means you cannot join the tour as a non-golfer and decide later to play a few rounds. The aspect of playing golf is central to this trip, but it is not the only component that makes a trip like this so memorable and worthwhile for everyone. It is also about meeting new friends, sharing lifelong memories with likeminded people, and discovering the culture, history and people of a different country than people call home. Yes, golf is the catalyst and focus of the trip, but there is a lot more to it than just the golf and this is what we want to showcase to you.

Golf pairings will be structured so that everyone plays with one another at least once. Where possible, we will group similar handicaps together, and some rounds will be played with ‘friends and travel companions’, but the rest will be mixed. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can bond with another golfer after just one round together.

There will be token prizes for our regular competition that recognised who played the best each day, as well as NTP’s, the occasional longest drives and some other fun categories yet-to-be revealed.

Our tee-times are usually mid-morning. After all, this is your holiday and you deserve a sleep in! If by chance there is an earlier tee-time, we will ensure there are no activities scheduled the night before.

Accommodation

Voyages.golf has secured a combination of 4 & 5-star hotels for this escorted golf tour. Those who have travelled with us before know the importance we place on well-located and comfortable quality accommodation.

If you want to upgrade your hotel room during the tour, at any hotel, please request this when booking and we can make the adjustments. Likewise, if you have a member number at any hotel chain that we visit during the tour, please produce that when making the booking and we will pass that onto the hotel.

Breakfast is included throughout the tour; this usually consists of a buffet breakfast, although some hotels have a la carte. For more information on the hotels we’re staying at, please contact us and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Pricing

• Prices are listed above in Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars & US Dollars. The prices listed above are guaranteed rates.

• All prices are per person & guaranteed

• For your international flight & travel insurance needs,

• It is expected that each traveller will have adequate travel insurance taken at time of booking.

How to Compare with Other Operators:

We are very transparent with our pricing. The easiest way to compare costs is to take the tour cost and divide it by the number of nights on the tour. Then, compare this per-night rate with other operators’ tours. You’ll find that some operators use the number of days to inflate numbers but the industry uses the nightly rate as the correct basis.

If you are trying to compare two tours, do the above equation and compare other factors including:

• Number of people (big tours mean less per person costs, but travelling as part of a large group isn’t always as fun)

• Included activities

• Quality of golf courses on the tour

• Location of Hotels & quality of Hotels (are they near restaurants or do you have to catch a taxi to the closest restaurant?)

Voyages.golf has market-leading prices due to our long-established relationships with suppliers. We go out of the way to secure the best deals for our tours to bring costs down but also provide a sensational experience to maximise comfort and enjoyment for all participants. If you have any doubts or are comparing the costs between operators, feel free to let us know and we’ll talk you through it.

FAQ’s

What

are your Payment methods?

We accept payments via credit card or bank transfer. For bank transfers, we accept transfers into our AUD account . For transfers within Australia, this is free. For other currencies paying into AUD, a $20 transaction fee must be added to the transfer.

For credit cards, please see the following payment currencies:

- CAD. AUD, USD

AUD Credit card fees (Other currencies may have extra fees.

- VISA: 1.7%

- Mastercard: 1.7%

- American Express: 1.98%

Why do you split payment into three?

We require a deposit to confirm your place. There is a stage payment usually 6 months prior to the date of travel, and the balance is due 3-4 months prior to travel. We spread the payments into three because there is usually a longer time-frame between booking a trip and the date of travel, so we spread out the higher payments into three smaller payments to ease the burden on you.

I can’t walk a golf course, what are my options?

All our golf games include a golf cart (motorised buggie) so there is no need to worry if you have a bad knee. We’ll be driving all the golf courses.

Do I need a certain handicap to join this tour?

There is no restriction on handicaps to join this tour, but we recommend you have a handicap below 36 to get the most enjoyment out of the golf experience.

Do single travellers join your trips

Absolutely, for a tour of 24 people, we usually have 5 - 6 single travellers. If you are considering joining this trip as a single traveller, we highly recommend it. Although most nights are free, the tour leaders will make sure nobody is having dinner alone, and the tour leader’s table always has a spare spot on the free nights. Everyone ends up as friends after a couple of nights, so single travellers are encouraged to join this tour.

My partner is a non-golfer, are they welcome?

Absolutely. We already have nongolfers booked on this tour. We can either leave the golf days free or tailor their experience to whatever suits their needs. All our hotel locations are central to the towns we’re staying at, so everything is a short walk away.

Are your tour leaders experienced?

Our tour leaders have over 80 years’ experience between them. We run a small, highly effective family run business and we’ve kept it small for a reason. Your tour leaders own the company, they have a few stories to tell!

Do you have terms and conditions?

This tour is subject to our standard terms and conditions. We are human, and will be happy to speak to you over email, phone or Zoom to ensure all of your questions are answered prior to any transaction taking place.
