1. What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively do you think you have applied them? In terms of the written element I have developed such skills as being able to effectively research and apply this research to my writing and my practical element. I have developed the ability to synthesise properly and make a connection with my critical writing and my practical. I Have also developed the skills to write in a critical way also being able to analyse a certain topic or point at a high level this has been clear through my case study’s.

2. What approaches to/methods of design production have you developed and how have they informed your design development process? The method of design production I have developed is a conceptual rebrand, being able to think about what needs to be different in order to improve the brand has helped influence the design produced making the brief more contemporary and high end

3. What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these? A strength of mine is being able to look at the brief from all angles and being able to see how I can best resolve the problem. I think this has brought me success when I have designed as the branding reflects the ethos of the brand. Another strength of mine would be researching, I feel like I gained a lot of primary research and general knowledge about both my dissertation and my practical piece before designing and writing which benefited both parts of cop 3.

4. What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how will you address these in the future? A weakness perhaps when it came to my writing is I should of took more time when actually writing to correct and check referencing I feel this would of saved me a lot of the towards to the end. I will use this learning curve to help with future briefs and make sure I check and document things as I go.

5. Identify five things that you will do differently next time and what do you expect to gain from doing these? •

Spend more time checking

Interview and speak to even more people

Gain more regular feedback from piers

Try more variations and tests

Acquiring the right stock in plenty of time.

6.How would you grade yourself on the following areas: (please indicate using an ‘x’) 5= excellent, 4 = very good, 3 = good, 2 = average, 1 = poor 1 2 3 4 5 Attendance x Punctuality x Motivation x Commitment x Quantity of work produced x Quality of work produced x Contribution to the group x The evaluation of your work is an important part of the assessment criteria and represents a percentage of the overall grade. It is essential that you give yourself enough time to complete your written evaluation fully and with appropriate depth and level of selfreflection. If you have any questions relating to the self evaluation process speak to a member of staff as soon as possible.
