Brief
Response
To produce a fictional independent magazine concept in groups of five, and to produce the front cover. Things to consider when creating our idea were: Concept , Audience , Aesthetic , Strategy , Lifespan & Progression. The brief also requested considerations for a kickstarter campaign to support the fictional magazine.
The fictional magazine was given the name ‘Off the Grid The concept derives from looking at how people live outside of mainstream society. The aesthetics of the magazine focus on hand rendered typography , hand/made hand crafted elements , recycled paper , tactical feel, hand bound spine , and a natural colour scheme.
