Background Information

Research & Inspiration

The student magazine is a bespoke publication that will be available for free at the End of Year show for people to pick up and will feature interviews that have been conducted by Samson cook & Victoria Redmond

The research and inspiration derives from different styles of publications ranging from newspapers to independent magazines looking at there aesthetics and layout design.

Development The development of the brief has consisted of layout variations, ‘Apercu’ typeface has been used for the body copy and ‘Born’ has been used for the sub headers and headers.

The publication has been as striped back as possible as it focuses on the content and simple layout. The images have been half toned and will be red on either white or off white stock.
