A civil engineer from Imperial College, London and a management graduate from the London Business School, Cyrus used his education along with his entrepreneurial mindset to make the Shapoorji Pallonji Group reach new heights in the engineering, construction and asset development business

Cyrus kept a low profile like other members of his family

Although introverted, he was a humble, simple and kind individual and a very patient listener Approachable to all, Cyrus was known for his ethics and integrity Above all, he was a fine human being

Cyrus’ sudden demise is a big loss to the Shapoorji Pallonji family, Group and all of us We pray to God that his soul rests in eternal peace

The G14 performed well with most games including Forza Horizon 5 and Microsoft Flight Simulator, though the Zephyrus series is not the ultimate gaming series from ROG There are a few titles yet to be optimised, like DCS World The laptop uses ROG intelligent cooling and includes a custom vapour cooling chamber and a liquid metal interface for better heat dissipation. The device has its main exhaust vents at the back, but the ErgoLift hinge slides the screen downward, directly in the way of exhaust, and thus heating the screen And during our sessions, in Turbo mode, the CPU temperatures approached 95 degrees Celsius and GPU temperatures maxed around 76 degrees Celsius Gaming laptops are not known for battery life, and the G14 is not any better with a 76W H battery, especially when you need maximum power for your gaming sessions. However, Asus has included a 240W charging adapter, which tops up the battery quite fast, and charges 50 percent in 30 minutes

ony has recently launched three models of X series portable Bluetooth speakers, the SRS XG300, SRS XE300, and the SRS XE200

While the XG300 is the largest of the three designed for extra bass, the XE200 is the lightest and compact one designed for a loud and fairly balanced sound that a speaker of this size can reproduce

The XE200 has a pentagonal cross section with non uniform sides. The speaker is not designed for 360 degree coverage, and you can clearly judge the ideal placement with the position of the fabric mesh The buttons are self explanatory, and the device comes with a braided strap to hang it or carry it effortlessly. The lateral surfaces have a cushioned rubber finish, while the edges are furnished in matte finished hard polycarbonate The Sony logo and the direction of buttons indicate the standing direction, but if you want to use the speaker horizontally for better stereo effects, I believe that the buttons should be at the top, though there are no strict rules to this XE200 carries an IP67 rating and hence is waterproof and sealed against dust The speaker is shock and drop resistant and even salt water resistant, making it an ultra portable small party speaker you can carry around.

The SRS XE200 is part of Sony’s X Balanced speaker series, which use non circular diaphragm, that help in maximising the diaphragm area and increase sound pressure for thumping bass without distorting the output. The device uses Sony’s Line Shape Diffuser to distribute the sound evenly across a wide area instead of throwing sound in a linear path The end result is that the sound reaches even the people who are not sitting immediately in front of the fabric mesh. The XE200 is quite loud, and offers a wide sound stage with good separation between the frequencies You get rich bass and mid frequencies, and even the treble is not too far behind We found the sweet spot between 60 to 80 percent volume Overall, we are impressed by the audio that comes out of this device.

You can use Sony’s Music Center app to customise the sound profile, though in a limited manner You can use the basic three segment equaliser to tweak the bass, mid and treble, or select ClearAudio+ mode to let the speaker activate Sony’s recommended sound settings. You can even switch the device to mono or stereo mode The XE200 allows multi device pairing and you can switch between

the devices from the app It also provides options for power optimisation and battery care to prolong battery life The My Library section allows you to add your music apps and seamlessly switch between them. Apart from popular music streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, Saavn, and YouTube, it also allows other audio centric apps like Netflix and Google Maps You can connect multiple speakers using Stereo Pair and Party Connect features Party Connect allows pairing with up to 100 compatible Bluetooth speakers to play the same music on speakers placed at multiple locations Telephone calls were clear both ways The speaker also includes a mute button for calls.
