Joani Tremblay - Landscape Gaze and Breezy Erudition, and What About Formal Freedom? • In Joani Tremblay’s large format works on paper, the artist mixes drawing, print, and embroidery to explore the landscapes of magical sites. Through research, documentation, and collection, Tremblay visited European sites and reconstructed them as images that offer a possibility of losing oneself in nonexistent abstract locations.
