THE CONCEPT OF THE FORUM Like any other EYP forum or session, V UF will follow the structure described below.

TEAMBUILDING During Teambuilding, the participants, in their respective committees, learn to know each other through a series of activities and games.

COMMITTEE WORK Throughout Committee Work, the delegates analyse the topic of their committee, identify the problems surrounding it and discuss solutions to these issues. The output of Committee Work is a written resolution.

CULTURAL PROGRAMME An extensive Cultural Programme, providing the participants with an opportunity to socialise and discover each other’s cultures through conversation, accompanies every session or forum of the European Youth Parliament.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY The last part of every session is a General Assembly (GA). In GA, the committees come together to present and debate the resolutions they wrote. In the end, the resolutions are put to a vote.

THE SUBSIDIARY PROGRAMME The programme of the V University Forum will also include the following elements:

DISCUSSION WITH EXPERTS

Each committee gets a chance to discuss their ideas with at least one expert qualified to provide profound background knowledge on the topics under discussion. Expert visits will take place after the committee has considered the problems inherent to their topic and before they begin to work on solutions. This approach will give the delegates an opportunity to determine the aspects of the topic, for which additional information is required.

PUBLIC LECTURES

As part of the Cultural Programme, a public lectures will be conducted. The lectures will be opened to everyone interested and will be tackling the topics of the Forum. This event will provide delegates with inspiring presentations and useful information for their discussions while opening the floor for all the citizens interested.
