Sonzogni: rematch needed Victory may be over for the Society football team as staff team captain Marco Sonzogni calls for a rematch this Tri. Cav. Sonzogni’s staff team was defeated in a 10-12 game against the Society in late March, however now as tempers flare over a few controversies, a rematch is on the books. In an adaption directed by current VP Society Anastasia Roberts, the struggles of Nino, the son of Italian immigrants to Island Bay here in Wellington, to be both gay without tearing his family apart is explored in

Exec: Garibaldi-ItalSoc relations to be formalised

The Executive Board has confirmed it plans to solidify relations with Club Garibaldi – the Italian club of Wellington – before the end of this year. What this will bring is yet to be disclosed, however there are hopes a closer relationship will see new joint events.
