The Moscow Urban Forum is an annual international conference dedicated to city development, architecture, economics and strategic planning of cities The Moscow Urban Forum has been held annually since 2011 under the auspices of the Moscow Government The Forum has established itself as a key international forum for interaction among worldrenowned urbanists, city managers and representatives of the business community At the Forum the opportunities and challenges related to modern megacities are discussed openly, and their development prospects are considered not just in the context of economics and effectiveness of governance, but through the prism of the person – city residents

IV MOSCOW URBAN FORUM ANALYTICAL REVIEWS SPECIAL ANALYTICAL REVIEWS ARE PERFORMED FOR THE IV FORUM:

 International research "Global Cities and Nation States. Partnership for Success: Past, Present and Future”  Moscow research "Spatial Strategy of Moscow: A Tool for Managing the Future” and "New Moscow”  Study on Russian cities "Fight for Citizens: Human Potential and the Urban Environment”

THE REVIEWS ARE INTERDISCIPLINARY IN NATURE AND FOCUSES ON THE MOST IMPORANT CHALLENGES FOR CITIES AND GROUPS OF CITIES.  The results of the research will serve as the basis for discussions at the Forum and be presented during plenary sessions.

 The results of the PwC rating “From Moscow to Sao Pãulo” - the E7 Cities of Opportunity rating, covering 7 world cites including Moscow, will also be presented at the Forum.

RUSSIAN CITIES AGENDA Issues of Russian cities: plenary session with the support of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, presentation of the results of a study on Russian cities (curator of research – Higher School of Economics, Graduate School of Urban Studies).

CONFERENCE “GOVERNMENT AND CITIZENS: TECHNOLOGIES OF COLLABORATION” The conference will focus on the role of information technologies in the city management and residents' involvement. The conference will discuss recent cases in e-surveys for residents, e-government and crowdsourcing projects, electronic provision of public services and other relevant topics.

SPECIAL EVENTS: URBAN TALKS – a scientific conference for experts and professionals in urbanism, architecture and urban planning. ISOCARP SCHOOL FOR CITY PLANNERS – young city planners study and propose solutions for the development of a specific area of Moscow. The results of their work will be presented during the Forum’s Open Day for Citizens.
