Santa Parade draws thousands to CBD

Santa Claus is comin’ to town, in fact he’s been and gone and left a number of happy boys and girls in his wake.

The Richmond Pak ‘n Save Santa Parade took over Queen St on Sunday, featuring thirty-two floats, including the jolly old man himself. As usual, hundreds lined the main street

to catch a view of Santa, as well as enjoy a variety of other eye-catching, tinselcoated floats, including a steam machine, fire truck and American muscle car, plus, the Richmond, Wakefield and Brightwa-

ter Scouts, marching groups and plenty of elves and angels. Organiser Kim Quint says this year’s parade was amongst some
