Katrina McLean never thought she would have to relive the moment when the Moutere Hills Community Centre caught fire. Less than three months after the first incident, a second blaze struck, putting to waste hundreds of volunteer hours that have gone into getting the centre up and running before September.

They’re pretty inquisitive.” After spotting the four chicks, the couple made up a flyer to alert neighbours as they did not want them killed by cats or dogs. “We’ve had some good responses from them and one woman said she had them down on her property too.” Neil Page of Native Bird Recovery Richmond says it is fantastic that numbers are increasing. “It’s definitely on the comeback.
