Heads of the school When Tom Rackley was just a Year 9 student he always dreamed of becoming a head student at Waimea College. Following his announcement as one of the four students to lead the school in 2013, he couldn’t

be happier. “Since then it was always the precedent all throughout school. It’s like the pinnacle at the school. Everyone looks up to the head students,” he says. Joining Tom is Hugh Knight, Hannah Arnold and Brittany Irvine.

Hugh agrees that is the biggest leading role and he always wanted to “aim high”. The head student role requires the quartet to represent Waimea College at events outside of school and take top leadship roles within it.
