The talent on display at the Tasman Skatepark Tour just keeps increasing, and the organisers are praising another successful event. The Tasman Skatepark Tour concluded in Richmond on Saturday after five competitions in other corners of the region. Entries were again high for the Richmond leg, which along with Motueka, is the most popular. “There was definitely a resurgence in scootering and we had a lot of the old school skaters back as well,” spokesperson Paul McConachie of the Tasman District Council says. “Spectators showed up in big numbers to support it and the tricks were probably a bit more advanced than last year so overall we SEE PAGE 2
