There are often a wide variety of vehicles that attend the day. “They will range from Japanese cars that have been tidied up by youngsters, which is great, to real old cars from the 1920s and everything in between,” he says. “Every year the numbers just get higher and higher.” Adrian will be bringing his 1974 Rover 3500 V8 which was actually assembled in Nelson from parts supplied from the United Kingdom. He is the third owner of the car, which “hasn’t even gone around the clock yet”. The event will be held rain or shine. Gates open at 10am. Entry fee is $5 per car and $2 per motorcycle.
