Richmond shopper wins $5000 cash A Stoke woman who is a self confessed loyal Richmond shopper has walked away with $5000 in cash after she won local competition Shop ‘n’ Win. Raewyn McDowell’s entry form, which she admits was filled out on a whim, was pulled out of 73,000 others on Wednesday December 18 after a record breaking number of customers embraced

the contest. Customers at all participating businesses in Richmond were eligible to enter in to the competition, which is now in its sixth year thanks to its popularity and the support of local retailers. took a while to register. “When he started saying, did you shop at Richmond Mall, did you fill out a form? I honestly could not remember. Then I thought wait a minute yes I did.” Raewyn had more than the other entrants up against her in order to win the prize. After seeing a bracelet she liked the look of at Acquisitions in Richmond Mall,

she left empty handed. “I didn’t buy it at first but then woke up the next night thinking about it, so I thought ‘bugger it – I’m going back to get it.” Despite being a passionate Richmond shopper, one that “would never shop anywhere else”, it’s also a miracle that she even filled SEE PAGE 2
